Rolling Thunder, an Engineman's journey By Stewart Anderson

Hi All

Stewart Anderson was a prolific photographer, published multiple articles, his first publication was d "liveries in the Landscape" under DAWS publications, a joint venture with Dave, Andrew William (Bill) and Stewart. Worked on Motive Power Magazine, then Managed Australian Railways Illustrated, (any which way you look at it, ARI is still one of the best produced Australian Railway Magazines full stop).
Stewart was a mate to just about anyone that was interested in the steel wheels that fitted in between two steel rails.  I was lucky to be counted as one of his mates!

Life aint fair sometimes, and Cancer took a toll on Stewie, he passed before he could see the production version of his final salute to those steel wheels.

Stewie's Book "Rolling Thunder" an Engineman's Journey, is now published, and you can get to see and keep his legacy.

His book chronicles Australian and overseas railways from the early 1980s on wards, set out by  Australian states, and by date order, large format book 300 plus pages all colour, really gives credit to the photographs.  Its a great railway pictorial reference alone.

Its available from Trainworld in Melbourne Victoria, please see the link below.
